The Grammy Award-winning superstar took a direct shot at the couple during a fiery live performance in Brazil, tweaking the lyrics of one of her most famous tracks to make her feelings crystal clear.

As part of her highly anticipated ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour’, Shakira put on a spectacular show, but what truly caught fans’ attention was her not-so-subtle lyrical adjustments.

In a bold move, the 48-year-old singer altered the words of her 2005 hit ‘Don’t Bother’, taking aim at Piqué and his new romance.

According to GOAL and Inkl, instead of singing, "she’s got perfect friends," Shakira switched it up to "she shares your stupid friends," a clear reference to the social circle she once shared with Piqué.

But the ultimate burn came when she belted out:

"She works for you for free, don’t make her lose her mind. She's more than you deserve, and yet she’s still not better than me."

The shade didn’t stop there.

In another emotional verse, Shakira reflected on the sacrifices she made for Piqué, who allegedly cheated on her before their public split in 2022.

She sang:

"I gave up everything I had for you and moved to a socialist country just to be with you. I filed my nails down so they wouldn’t hurt you. I lost weight, learned about football just so you’d stay, but you didn’t—and you won’t."

The lyrics, filled with raw emotion and regret, left fans in awe, with many praising Shakira for taking control of her narrative.

Although the ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer and Piqué share two sons, Milan and Sasha, their post-breakup relationship has been anything but smooth.

With this latest performance, it’s clear Shakira isn’t afraid to speak her truth after ending her 11 year relationship with the Blaugrana legend.
