Shericka Jackson: Jamaican sprint Queen marks Diamond League debut with 22.82s victory in Rabat
The Jamaican superstar recovered from some rusty start in the race to claim the first position over her fellow sprinters.
She achieved a good race time compared to her high expectations in the 200-meter sprint race.

The Jamaican withdrew from the Suzhou Diamond League and the Miramar Invitational in April, but she did not delay her 2024 outdoor campaign, winning the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association All Comers 100-meter race earlier this month in 11.03 seconds.
Jackson started the race a bit slow but picked up the pace when she was about to turn the corner on the track.
The Jamaican had a slight advantage over Maboundou Koné of the Ivory Coast, who was keeping her company inside.
Koné finished in second place in 22.96 seconds, followed by Helene Parisot in third place with a personal best time of 23.02 seconds.
