Alex Iwobi should sold as advised Gabriel Agbonlahor
Gabriel Agbonlahor believes it is time for Everton to sell Alex Iwobi to sign better players. Everton survived relegation on the last day of the Premier League season for the second time in a roll.

Former Aston Villa star man Gabriel Agbonlahor has advised Everton to sell Nigerian international Alex Iwobi in the summer.

The Toffees for the second consecutive season escaped relegation on the final day of the Premier League matchday.

And it is expected for the management of the Merseyside club to make wholesale changes to avoid struggling to survive from the drop next season.

The Super Eagles midfielder has been one of the best performers with the club in the last two years but Everton are yet to get busy in the transfer window.

What Agbonlahor said about Iwobi

Iwobi’s contract at Goodison Park expires in the summer of 2024 and Agbonlahor believes it is high time the Nigerian is sold to raise more money.

Agbonlahor told Football Insider:

“I think they should be open to selling Iwobi. He’s done okay. He’s been there when Everton needed someone.

“It would boost that transfer budget even more and allow them to move on to better targets and get clear of that relegation zone next season.”
