Ruben Dias and Love Island host Maya Jama spark ‘sensational’ dating rumours

Manchester City defender Ruben Dias and Love Island presenter Maya Jama have fuelled dating rumours after being spotted together in Ibiza over New Year’s Eve.

 A viral photo shared online shows the Portuguese footballer, 27, dining with Jama, 30, at the chic Sa Capella restaurant.

While Jama shared a sultry snap on her Instagram stories to mark the occasion, there were no posts featuring Dias.

Fans were quick to speculate about a potential romance, especially after the pair began following each other on Instagram last November. 

Sources have linked their initial meeting to the MTV Europe Music Awards held in Manchester last year, where they reportedly hit it off.

Both Dias and Jama are enjoying the single life, with Dias having ended his relationship with ex-Love Island star Arabella Chi earlier in 2024, and Jama splitting from long-term partner Stormzy in mid-2024.

Dias, known for his high-profile romances, previously dated Portuguese pop star April Ivy for three years, followed by a brief fling with Chi. 

The Man City star's love life has been a hot topic among fans, especially given his celebrity connections.

Meanwhile, Maya Jama continues to dominate the British entertainment scene. 

The Love Island host is gearing up for the show’s winter edition later this month and was recently announced as a new judge on The Masked Singer.

As social media detectives piece together their interactions, neither Dias nor Jama has confirmed or denied the swirling rumours. H
