What Sinner said
The Italian stated that he adapted his playing style to defeat Andrey Rublev and progress further.
“We know each other well, so I tried to change my game style a bit. I’m proud to finish it in three,” said Sinner.
“Inside, there’s a storm. Tennis is very mental, and I’ve learned to control it over time.”
Sinner, playing under the lights in an electric evening session, showed composure and tactical maturity in a match that showcased his evolution as a top-tier competitor.
Sinner will face Alexander Bublik in the quarterfinal. Bublik is currently ranked world number 62.
With Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz still in contention, the men’s draw is poised for thrilling battles as Roland Garros heads into its final stretch.
