REVEALED: Did Lando Norris and Magui Corceiro break up?

Lando Norris and his girlfriend Margarida Corceiro are the subject of a breakup rumours swirling on social media this week.

The rumours primarily stemmed from an official F1 video showing the drivers lining up for the traditional season-start grid photo ahead of 2026 testing chaos.

Social media detectives and Formula 1 fan pages zoomed in and swear they lip-read a bombshell exchange between Lando, the reigning F1 world champion, and Williams Racing driver Carlos Sainz.

According to the viral breakdowns flooding TikTok and Instagram, the alleged exchange between the two drivers went something like this:

• Carlos: “You okay with Magui?

• Lando: “We broke up.”

• Carlos: “Really? Why?”

• Lando: “It’s over.”

• Carlos: “So you’re a single man now!”

The clip has exploded online, with fan pages and gossip accounts posting slowed-down versions and begging proper lip readers to confirm. 

At the time of this publication, neither Lando Norris nor Magui Corceiro have confirmed their breakup amid the swirling rumours. However, sources say that the two have indeed parted ways despite no formal statement.

Prior to their hard launch last year, Magui and Lando had endured and on and off romance beyond the circuit.

The pair have noticeably cut ties for brief spells in the past, in between which the duo would be linked to other names.

The Portuguese actress, for instance, would’ve been linked to a number of high-profile athletes including her ex-boyfriend and Selecao star Joao Felix as well as Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro; both footballers denied any romance post-split from the Al Nassr star in 2023.

Lando and Magui, 24, still follow each other on social media and have recently engaged each other’s posts across platforms.

The couple first sparked dating rumours at the 2023 Monaco GP, but kept things super low-key until August 2025 when they finally went public at the Hungarian GP.

Their hard-launch was complete with loved-up posts and paddock smooches after Lando’s big wins. Magui, the 23-year-old actress and influencer, was a regular fixture cheering her man on, even posting heartfelt tributes after his championship moments.

The 26-year-old British driver is currently in Bahrain for the final week of pre-season testing ahead of his first Formula 1 title defense in 2026.

Norris topped the timesheets on Thursday morning (Day 2 of the final test), posting a fastest lap of 1:33.453. He edged out Max Verstappen by 0.131 seconds and George Russell by over six-tenths.

Despite his leading pace, Norris cautioned that McLaren still has "quite a bit to improve" to match the race pace and tire degradation levels of rivals like Red Bull and Ferrari.
