Top clubs back in for Osimhen

Osimhen was expected to move to one of the Champions League contenders in the summer, but he joined the Cim-Bom, with the top clubs failing to make a move.

His lack of high-profile suitors were not due to his quality; however, as reports revealed that Osimhen's wage demands—which Galatasaray can afford to pay due to favourable tax laws—made acquiring him costly.

However, his recent performances for the Super Eagles and Galatasaray seem to have reminded the top clubs of his undeniable talents, and he has now been linked with the likes of Barcelona

According to Fotospor, the Cim-Bom are not interested in selling Osimhen. They made a significant investment in his last summer and hope to reap the benefits for many years to come.

However, they also see the financial opportunity and know that a deep Champions League run could balloon his valuation. With that in mind, they are eyeing a transfer fee of about €150 million, which is €20 million more than his Napoli release clause from a few years ago.
