According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, the move comes amidst complexities surrounding their primary transfer target, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Galatasaray's technical team views 23-year-old Jackson as a "valuable opportunity," appreciating his impressive speed, finishing abilities, and remarkable consistency for his age.

The club has reportedly begun to gauge interest in Jackson, signalling their intent to initiate official discussions with Chelsea should their pursuit of Osimhen prove unsuccessful.

The complications surrounding Osimhen's transfer are multifaceted. High transfer fees, estimated to be around his €75 million release clause at Napoli, coupled with a multitude of potential buyers, including Chelsea themselves, are making his acquisition a challenging endeavour for Galatasaray.

It is understood that Chelsea is planning to wait until August in hopes of securing a more economical deal for the Nigerian international.

Should Galatasaray miss out on Osimhen, they are poised to pivot swiftly to Jackson.

Reports suggest that Jackson, whose market value is currently estimated at €50 million by Transfermarkt, is keen on joining a club where he can secure regular playing time.

Galatasaray's consistent involvement in European competitions, particularly the UEFA Champions League, is expected to be a major factor in attracting the young forward.

Jackson joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023 and, despite some initial inconsistencies, had an encouraging debut campaign for the Blues, scoring 14 goals across all competitions.
