PSG make shock approach for €50 million-rated Manchester United Star
Paris Saint-Germain have made a surprising move to strengthen their attack following Kylian Mbappe’s departure to Real Madrid.
According to a report by Foot Mercato, the French club are close to an agreement with Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho.
Sancho eyes Manchester United exit
With Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid, PSG are looking to fill the void left by the star forward and the club have set their sights on Sancho, who recently returned from exile at Manchester United.
Sancho was left out of the first-team squad by Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United for the majority of the 2023/24 season and returned to his former club, Borussia Dortmund on loan, where he managed to find some form.

In 21 games, the winger recorded three goals and three assists, but despite Dortmund’s interest in retaining Sancho, Manchester United’s high valuation of the player proved a stumbling block for a permanent move.
PSG's sporting director keen on Sancho
PSG have entered the race for Sancho’s signature, hoping to capitalise on this opportunity with the club’s sporting director, Luis Campos, reportedly impressed by Sancho’s performance during his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
Foot Mercato reveals that Campos is eager to secure Sancho's services and is working towards finding an agreement with Manchester United.
Sancho's valuation by Manchester United stands at €50 million, a figure that PSG are prepared to negotiate. The French club are optimistic about reaching a total agreement on personal terms with Sancho, which could see them beat fierce competition for the 24-year-old winger.
