PSG join race to sign Osimhen, dream of Mbappe partnership

PSG are currently recovering from the departure of Lionel Messi, who confirmed he will be off to MLS side Inter Miami and the French club have identified a worthy replacement. 

Osimhen finished the season as Serie A’s Golden Boot winner and his exceptional return of 31 goals in all competitions led Napoli to their first league title in 30 years.

His stock has risen to a totally new level and the Super Eagles star is currently one of the most sought-after strikers in world football. 

According to French outlet Le Parisien, Osimhen could now be headed to PSG to team up with Kylian Mbappe who is keen to play off a main centre forward. 

Osimhen will certainly not come cheap after recent reports suggesting he would only be allowed to leave if an offer of around €120m is made. 

Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked to the Nigerian goal-machine and it promises to be one of the summer’s long-running transfer stories.
