Premier League Standings: Aston Villa revel in Champions League return after 41 years
Aston Villa are celebrating securing a long-awaited return to the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 1983 after Manchester City's 2-0 win over Tottenham.
City's victory saw them leapfrog Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table, taking a two-point lead in the intense title race with just one game remaining on Tuesday night.

Pep Guardiola's side are now in pole position to claim an unprecedented fourth successive title after taking control of the Premier League Standings.
But their success also had major ramifications for Aston Villa, who have ended their 41-year exile from Europe's elite club competition by finishing fourth.
The Villans took to social media in celebratory mood, posting: "Aston Villa Football Club. Back on Europe's biggest stage" accompanied by pictures of wild celebrations from their end-of-season party.
It marks an incredible achievement for Unai Emery's revitalised side battling relegation this time last year before the Spaniard's arrival sparked a remarkable turnaround.

Villa can now look forward to hearing that iconic Champions League anthem at Villa Park next season as they mix it with the continent's heavyweights once more.
The West Midlanders' last appearance in Europe's premier club competition came back in 1983 when they were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Juventus.
But after four decades away, Villa are finally back dining at football's top table and the Villains are partying hard..
