Premier League: Iwobi set for new Nigerian record as he surpasses Okocha, Kanu, Mikel
Fulham star Iwobi has moved to second place as the Nigerian with the most Premier League appearances.
The Super Eagles star has been in the EPL since he was young, starting at Arsenal academy and has since then become a top player.
The midfielder played for the likes of Arsenal, Everton and is now playing for Fulham, where he is currently one of the star players in the team.
Iwobi’s new record
Iwobi has surpassed the likes of Jay-Jay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Mikel Obi and other Nigerian legends.

The midfielder, who now has 298 appearances, equalled Ameobi's record of 298 games in the Premier League.
Behind Iwobi is Kanu with 273 in third place, Aiyegbeni Yakubu with 252 in fourth place and Mikel Obi with 249 in fifth place.
The midfielder extended his appearances in Fulham’s 3-1 defeat on Friday night against an in-form Bournemouth side.
The Super Eagles star will surpass the record in Fulham's next game against his former club Arsenal.

The Nigerian international now has 85 appearances for Fulham, having scored 16 goals and 10 assists.
