The semifinal clash between legend Novak Djokovic and youngster Carlos Alcaraz was the most anticipated match at the 2023 Roland Garros.
It lived up to expectations in the first two sets until a turn of events in the third, when Alcaraz began cramping early which dampened the match and put a sad ending to what was a great beginning.
Djokovic eventually showed his supremacy and experience, outclassing the young Spaniard 3-6, 7-5, 6-1, 6-1 to reach a seventh career final in Paris.

While the match was going on, an unknown artist was unknowingly pictured painting the court and spectators.
Craig O'Shannessey tweeted about the beautiful moment the artist was captured while the match was ongoing.
"He started painting at the beginning of the match. We have not finished two sets of Djokovic v Alcaraz and he already has something “Louvre Ready.”
