Osimhen’s Hat-trick boots sold for ₦1m as Nigerian Coach raises funds for business

Olisa Ezeasor, assistant coach of Nigerian National League side Solution FC, has confirmed the sale of a pair of football boots gifted to him by Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen, less than two months after receiving them.

The boots were worn by Osimhen when he scored a memorable hat-trick against São Tomé and Príncipe in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and had been personally handed to Ezeasor in appreciation of his support for the striker.

Boots Sold for ₦1 Million

On Saturday, Ezeasor announced on social media that he was putting the boots up for sale at a price of ₦1 million, explaining that the money would be used to support a personal business venture.

“Officially putting this boot up for sale. Price: One million naira only. Money needed to support my personal business,” Ezeasor posted.

By Sunday, he confirmed that the boots had been purchased by football administrator Fola Olatunji-David, although he refrained from disclosing the final amount.

The gift came after the Super Eagles' Hat-trick

Ezeasor originally received the boots in October, shortly after Osimhen's hattrick against Benin Republic in 4-0 victory during the World Cup qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
