With league positions tight, only one point separating the two teams, Galatasaray know they cannot afford a similar slip-up against their fierce rivals, especially as they aim to solidify their top-of-the-table standing.

Meanwhile, in a related development, Canadian forward, David, has stated that his club Union Saint-Gilloise were rewarded for their impressive display against the Lions in Turkey.

According to the 24-year-old of Nigerian descent, while their hosts Galatasaray had chances, the visitors were able to block them en route to the decisive goal and winner in the second half.

David said, “I think it was a good game. We blocked Galatasaray well. They had their chances, too. We got the reward for our good play tonight.”
