Ola Aina’s Forest win fifth game in a row to strengthen top four credentials
Nuno Espírito Santo’s men head into the game having won their last four games in a row, with their last win coming against Tottenham.
They continue their impressive form, defeating Everton 2-0 and increasing their winning streak to five games.
As it happened
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was replaced in attack by Armando Broja as part of Everton's changes from Thursday's 1-1 draw with Manchester City.
Nottingham Forest also made two changes from the side that beat Tottenham 1-0 last time out. Aina continues in defence but plays as a wingback.
Forest played the first half on the front foot and their attacking threat got rewarded with a goal, which was scored by Woods.
The visitors doubled their lead in the second half after a nice play ended with Morgan Gibbs-White, who worked a bit of space for the shot and finished clinically.
Everton could not find a solution to Forest’s attack and also failed to cause any threat to kickstart a comeback until the final whistle was blown.
