NPFL: Doma United players injured in road accident

Nigerian Premier Football League club (NPFL) Doma United was involved in a road accident on Monday while traveling back from a match against Heartland United.

According to reports, there were no fatalities in the accident that occurred along the Makurdi-Lafia road.

However, several Doma United players sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

The team was returning from Owerri after their Matchday 35 clash against Heartland FC, which they unfortunately lost 3-1.

This loss adds more pressure on Coach Abubakar Bala's squad as they fight to avoid relegation from the NPFL.
