Nigerian sprinter secures major deal, bags endorsement with giant Spanish sportswear brand

Spanish giant sportswear brand has signed Nigerian athlete professional Alaba Akintola in a major deal.

Alaba Akintola, one of Nigeria's talented sprinters, bagged a major endorsement deal with giant Spanish sportswear brand Joma Sport.

The 24-year-old runner who has been representing Nigeria since 2018, finally saw a breakthrough in his career, two years after turning professional, by becoming Joma's first athlete ambassador from Africa.

Alaba Akintola graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, where he was a standout athlete

In an announcement post released by the elated athlete on his Instagram page, Akintola expressed his excitement about joining the highly recognised sportswear brand.

"Proud to officially join the @jomasport family. Excited for what’s ahead, let’s get to work. 🔥 Thank you."
