It’s not coming home — Nigeria's Asisat Oshoala mocks England's Euro 2024 heartbreak against Spain

Nigeria and Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala did not hold back after England lost the Euro 2024 final to Spain.

The former Barcelona star took to social media to join the trolls, after the Three Lions came up short against a brilliant La Roja side.

Spain completed a perfect tournament by beating England 2-1 to lift a record fourth European Championship.

Nico Williams gave the Spanish an early second-half lead, but substitute Cole Palmer pulled England level in the 47th minute to give the English hope.

However, Mikel Oyarzabal's late strike, after a tournament-winning clearance from Dani Olmo, handed Spain the victory and the trophy.

According to the Super Falcons, the coveted Euro trophy will not be 'coming home' to the UK, with seven of the Nigerian stars backing Spain to lift the crown, compared to just six for Gareth Southgate's side.

The famous Manchester United fan was one of seven Super Falcons players who predicted that La Roja would emerge victorious in the highly explosive encounter.

Following the defeat and her prediction coming to pass, Oshoala, who had predicted Spain would beat England, took to X.com (formerly Twitter) to mock the Three Lions with the famous "It's coming home" line.

Meanwhile, Asisat Oshoala was showered with well-wishes and adoration as she departed her NWSL club to represent Nigeria at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.

Nigeria's Oshoala and Zambia's Racheal Kundananji led the group of players who received a lavished sendoff from Bay FC as left for their national teams in search of Olympic glory in Paris 2024.

Oshoala, who has a keen eye for the big occasion, will be aiming to make history of her own, as Nigeria chase their first-ever Olympic gold medal in women's football.

The Super Falcons' quest for glory begins on July 24th, when they take on Brazil in their opening group stage clash.
