This was the first winner-take-all overtime game in WNBA Finals history, as Minnesota began the five-minute session slowly and Courtney Williams was unable to convert several times while New York built a 7-2 advantage to win 67-62.

She also added seven rebounds, two blocks, two assists, and a steal, but had zero free-throw attempts.

In addition to contributing everywhere else to win her third WNBA championship, Stewart, a two-time Finals MVP, finished with 13 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and a steal.

Sabrina Ionescu shot just 1 of 19 from downtown, with a 1-for-10 clip but added eight assists, seven rebounds, two steals, and a block.

As the unsung hero, Nyara Sabally scored 17 points while Jonquel Jones added 17 points and was crowned finals MVP.
