The Dallas Wings didn't waste any time getting the season off to a winning start, defeating the Atlanta Dream 85-78 in their opening game with a solid defensive effort.

On Saturday, May 27, 2023, early in their second game, Arike Ogunbowale guided the Wings to a 95-91 victory over the Seattle Storm.

For Dallas, Natasha Howard had 16 points, nine rebounds, five steals, and four blocks, while Crystal Dangerfield scored 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting.

Satou Sabally, a big woman from Germany, contributed a double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.

Arike Ogunbowale leads Wings to victory against Storm

Ogunbowale, an American guard of Nigerian descent, recorded a game-high 26 points and added six assists.

She grabbed four rebounds and recorded one steal in 40 minutes of action in the Commissioners Cup.
