Arike Ogunbowale continues her good form as the Dallas Wings move to 2-0 with a victory away against the Seattle Storm.

The Arike Ogunbowale-led Dallas Wings took advantage of a Seattle Storm team that is still putting itself together after losing both of its franchise heroes.

The Dallas Wings didn't waste any time getting the season off to a winning start, defeating the Atlanta Dream 85-78 in their opening game with a solid defensive effort.

On Saturday, May 27, 2023, early in their second game, Arike Ogunbowale guided the Wings to a 95-91 victory over the Seattle Storm.

For Dallas, Natasha Howard had 16 points, nine rebounds, five steals, and four blocks, while Crystal Dangerfield scored 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting.

Satou Sabally, a big woman from Germany, contributed a double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.

Arike Ogunbowale leads Wings to victory against Storm

Ogunbowale, an American guard of Nigerian descent, recorded a game-high 26 points and added six assists.

She grabbed four rebounds and recorded one steal in 40 minutes of action in the Commissioners Cup.

Ogunbowale made 10 of her 21 shots, including three of eight from three-point range and a perfect three from the free-throw line.

Ogunbowale returns to action with the Dallas Wings when they travel to face the Chicago Sky in their next regular season fixture scheduled for Sunday, May 28.
