NBA Playoffs: Celtics and Thunder win
With a dominant 3-1 lead in their East semifinal series, the Boston Celtics defeated the severely undermanned Cleveland Cavaliers 109-102 on Monday night in Game 4. Jayson Tatum scored 33 points in the victory.
The Celtics can eliminate Cleveland with a victory in Game 5 on Wednesday night at home thanks to Jaylen Brown's 27 points.
If needed, Friday's game would return to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
With two of their best players sitting out due to injuries—Jarrett Allen (ribs) and Donovan Mitchell (calf)—the Cavaliers were forced to play to the verge of elimination.
