Napoli preparing colossal Osimhen release clause to ward off Manchester United and Real Madrid
Serie A champions Napoli are set to include an astronomical release clause in a new deal for star forward Victor Osimhen to ward off interest from other top European clubs, including Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Osimhen linked to top clubs after superb season
The Nigerian forward has already scored 23 times for Napoli, helping them to their first Serie A title in 33 years, and has also become the highest-scoring African in Serie A history in a historic campaign with the Partenopei.
His exploits have made him famous on the European circuit, with clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain all being linked to the Super Eagles forward.
Napoli looking to keep Osimhen away from clubs lusting after his signature
Despite the interest from top clubs, Napoli have insisted that their main priority is to keep the current team together and make sure players like Osimhen remain at the club this summer.

In order to fend off wanting eyes, Napoli have decided to negotiate a new contract for Osimhen, whose current deal ends in the summer of 2025.
Napoli intend to raise Osimhen’s current salary in any new deal, but will also be looking to add a release clause of at least €160 million to the new contract, which is expected to run for more than the current two years his deal has.
With a high release clause in place, Napoli will take a huge step in keeping Osimhen at the club for at least this summer as the interested clubs are unlikely to pay the high amount stated in the contract.
