Nairobi City Stars boss explains what new signing Robinson Asenwa will bring to the side

Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Nairobi City Stars secured the signing of the promising left winger Robinson Asenwa from Vapor Sports Academy. 

The acquisition comes on the heels of Asenwa's impressive performance with the FKF Division One side where he showcased his remarkable talent and potential.

Nairobi City Stars' Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Korir, expressed his elation regarding this significant addition to the team's roster. 

“Robinson is a talented player, and we have been tracking him for the past two seasons in the lower leagues. He has great potential," Korir stated in an interview with Pulse Sports.

"We needed someone capable of delivering crosses, scoring goals, and providing assists, as we faced challenges in that position last season."

The signing of Asenwa is expected to bolster City Stars' attack and provide them with a much-needed edge in crucial matches. 

His proficiency as a left-winger offers a dynamic element to the team's gameplay, enhancing their ability to create goal-scoring opportunities from the flanks.

Asenwa honed his skills at the renowned football institution Vapor Sports which is in Kawangware. 

His standout performances in the FKF Division One showcased his determination and potential, capturing the attention of scouts and football enthusiasts alike.

His signing also follows the recent addition of Japanese striker Yuto Kusaba to Nairobi City Stars. 

With a long-term contract now firmly in place, Asenwa is poised to make an impact from the get-go.
