Missing her today - Ahmed Musa visits his mother's burial place

Super Eagles of Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa has taken to social media to share some personal news.

The forward was last in action in a Nigeria Premier Football League fixture between Kano Pillars and Bendel Insurance.

The match was decided with a penalty kick converted by Rabiu Ali.

Musa took to social media to celebrate the adoration he received in the game.

He said, "Big Win Today!🔥 We grabbed those much-needed 3 points, and every player left it all on the field! Proud of this team’s grit and sportsmanship. 🙌⚽

"A huge THANK YOU to our incredible fans! Your energy and support made all the difference.

However, On Sunday, November 10, Musa shared news about his late mother.

He posted a video of his visit to the burial place of his late mother.

Along with the video was a message that said, "Today, I visited my mom’s resting place, a reminder of how deeply her love and kindness shaped who I am. 💐💔

"Though she’s no longer with me physically, her spirit and memories live on in every moment.

"Missing her today and every day, but grateful for all the love she left behind. ❤️✨

Despite Musa's terrific form in the NPFL he has not been called up to the Super Eagles of Nigeria fold for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
