Mbappe back from injury one week early

Mbappe limped off in PSG’s 3-1 win over Montpellier at the start of the month with a thigh injury and was due to miss up to three weeks of football, but he is already back in training a week early and could be in the PSG squad for their crunch UEFA Champions League clash.

In Mbappe’s absence, PSG have struggled in matches. They got knocked out of the Coupe de France by Marseille and lost 3-1 to Monaco in Ligue 1 as well, with their only victory in his absence coming against Toulouse thanks to a Lionel Messi screamer.

PSG could have the full complement of their star front three for Bayern Munich

With Mbappe potentially returning, PSG could have their star-studded front three back when they face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Messi, who also became an injury worry recently, is set to resume PSG training today after missing their Monaco game in Ligue 1 this weekend.

Neymar recently returned from injury after missing a week, and he will be available for Bayern Munich.
