The Portuguese legend moved to the top of the goal-scoring rankings with two goals in Al Nassr's convincing Saudi Pro League victory over the weekend.

The Portugal star said that his son preferred Kylian Mbappé of Real Madrid, despite football fans believing Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest of all time.

Ronaldo acknowledged that the France captain has outperformed him in his son's eyes in an interview with Spanish publication La Sexta.

According to ESPN, he said, "Mateo, he really likes Mbappé. He sometimes tells me, ‘Hey dad, Mbappé is better than you,' and I reply by saying, 'No, I am better than him, I have scored more goals."

Despite his son’s comment, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner told his son that he is better than the French star.

Mbappé currently has 15 goals in La Liga after his hat-trick against Real Valladolid on Saturday, placing him second in the Pichichi race after Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona.
