Like it's been in a couple of recent games, Arua Hill drew first blood through a Safi Mansoor goal after just eight minutes.

The guests then levelled terms in the 34th minute through Patrick Bayiga to head into the dressing with nothing to separate them.

Three minutes past the hour-mark, Maroons added a second through midfielder David Ndihabwe.

They will hope for redemption in their next match away to third-placed Kitara FC at the Masindi Playgrounds on December 28.

On the other hand, Maroons moved fourth on the 16-team log with 22 points out of a possible 36.

In their subsequent fixture, the Prison Warders will host army side Gaddafi FC at Luzira on December 30.
