Manchester United vs. Brighton Preview

The Red Devils recorded their frst win at Anfield in nearly a decade with stunning 2-1 win last Sunday. It is the first time the team has won successive league games under Amorim, and now they will hope to build on that. United are enjoying a winning streak at Old Trafford, having triumphed in three successive home league matches, while scoring two or goals each time.

Brighton also secured a 2-1 win over Newcastle last time out, and are unbeaten in their last four league outings (2W, 2D). However, they still have their worst points tally (12) after eight matches since 2020-21.

They have been poor on the road, with just one win four away league games (1D, 2L), while they have kept just one clean sheet in their last 20 Premier League games.

Lisandro Martinez has struggled with injuries since joining Manchester United

Man United have almost everyone available, with only defender Lisandro Martinez certainly sidelined as he recovers from a knee injury.

Casemiro is questionable after going off in the win over Liverpool, but should he miss the game, Manuel Ugarte will likely get the nod in midfield.

Brighton have more injury issues to deal with, as Solly March and Adam Webster are battling knee issues, while Jack Hinshelwood (ankle) is also sidelined.

Kaoru Mitoma (ankle), Joel Veltman (calf), Diego Gomez (hip) and Brajan Gruda (knee) are all doubts.
