Man United midfielder Bruno Fernandes claims he’s happy at Old Trafford amid Saudi Arabia rumours
After joining the team three years ago, Fernandes has emerged as one of United's best signings at Old Trafford.
However, his performance this season has been below par, with his club also struggling to win games.
Fernandes staying put at Man United
Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he had no imminent plans to leave Manchester despite their bad form.
Fernandes said in an interview with Sport TV Portugal as reported by Daily Mail, “I'm focusing on the national team and United. I'm happy where I am.
“In the national team, we had some very good times, at Manchester United, we didn't start the way we wanted. I don't look at rumours. I don't pay attention to them.
“Today, it's very easy to spread rumours in the press. I prefer to concentrate on my goals.”
Despite the fact that his current United deal expires in 2026 with an option to extend for an additional year, Saudi Arabian recruiters are still attempting to sign the playmaker.
Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes' tenure as the new captain of the team has not gone as he would have expected.
Manchester United have struggled since the start of the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign and are also on the verge of being eliminated from the Champions League.
Fernandes will be hoping things will change in the coming weeks after his team secured three points against Luton Town last weekend.
