Superstar Luka Dončić is expected to extend his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN, via Sportal, given the Slovenian's expressed desire to remain with the California team.

Dončić is anticipated to sign a three-year, $165 million deal, which includes a player option for the 2028/2029 season.

The 26-year-old Dončić plans to represent his national team this summer at the upcoming Men's European Championship.
