Liverpool make move to defend EPL title with massive offer for Leverkusen star Wirtz
The German had an impressive season with Bayer Leverkusen and his performance has caught the attention of top clubs in Europe.
Florian Wirtz has been on the radar of the Red and was recently seen in England to discuss a possible transfer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement between the two clubs is expected soon, with Liverpool keen to finalise the deal quickly to avoid any unforeseen complications.

Leverkusen have already sold Jeremie Frimpong, also to Liverpool, and are in advanced talks with Bournemouth regarding Milos Kerkez.
The Reds offered €100 million plus bonuses in an attempt to bring the German midfielder to Merseyside.
They have already reached an agreement with the 22-year-old, who has reportedly told Leverkusen that he only wants to join Liverpool. The German club now holds the key to the transfer.
Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold has said "goodbye" to Liverpool, and the futures of Nunez, Kelleher, Tsimikas, Elliott, and Kwansah remain uncertain.
