Bayern president confirms Wirtz rejection as he closes in on Liverpool move

According to Spotal.bg, Bayern president Herbert Hainer stated today that "Max Eberl informed me that Florian Wirtz is leaning towards Liverpool."

Wirtz's decision has shocked the Bavarians, who were confident of securing the 22-year-old attacking midfielder. Bayern officials have repeatedly expressed their desire to sign the player in recent weeks.

While Wirtz may have chosen Liverpool, the Merseyside club still needs to negotiate with Leverkusen, who are demanding around €150 million.
