When the entire world was under quarantine because to the Covid pandemic, the documentary The Last Dance provided amusement.
Argentine superstar player Lionel Messi named Michael Jordan the greatest NBA player of all time, and this decision was partly influenced by the series.
According to Messi, viewing the Netflix documentary revealed that Jordan was the best player in league history.
This was discussed in a recent episode of the Clank! podcast, which is hosted by Argentine journalist Juan Pablo Varsky.
Messi on Michael Jordan
He said, “It seems to me, in terms of sports, he’s the greatest there is (…) But after having seen his series and getting to know a bit more about him, you know, ‘The Last Dance’, it just blows your mind, it’s a masterpiece, it’s impressive.
"Well, that also brought me closer to him and to understand a bit more about who he was. It’s a pity that I couldn’t live through that era in person, because I would’ve loved it.”
Most people agree that Michael Jordan, who won six titles with the Chicago Bulls, is the greatest player of all time.
LeBron James, the legendary player for the Los Angeles Lakers, is his biggest rival.
Jordan's 6-0 record in the Finals is considered the deciding factor, despite the fact that James leads the NBA in career scoring and has four titles in 21 seasons.
Whatever the case, there are a plethora of elements that will make this a never-ending debate, and Messi has only put his name to it.
