AC Milan legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic's son, Maximilian, has taken a significant step to continue his father’s legacy after signing his first professional contract with the Rossoneri, as announced by the Serie A club

Maximilian, who is a 17-year-old attacker will be joining Milan Futuro, the club's development team, and will compete in Italy's third-tier Serie C this season.

The teenager’s journey with AC Milan began in 2022 when he joined the club's U-17 side. His talent and potential quickly became evident, paving the way for his progression to Milan Futuro and his first professional contract.

Ibrahimovic scored 511 career club goals, won 34 trophies (including 12 league titles), and was nominated for the Ballon d'Or 11 times.

He is Sweden's all-time top scorer with 62 international goals in 122 matches. The only major club trophy he did not win was the Champions League, though he won the Europa League with Manchester United in 2017.

Ibrahimovic, who ended his illustrious playing career at AC Milan last year, continues to have a strong influence at the club. He now serves as a senior advisor, offering his wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Rossoneri.
