Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has been crowned the Championship Manager of the Month for November, securing the award for the second consecutive month after guiding the Sky Blues to a flawless run.
Lampard’s in-form Coventry side won five straight matches in November, tightening their grip at the top of the table and extending their lead to five points. The recognition marks his 30th victory in 55 games since taking charge of the club.
Lampard beat fellow nominees Chris Davies (Birmingham City), Tonda Eckert (Southampton), and John Eustace (Derby County) to claim the monthly honour.
What Lampard said
Reacting to the award, Lampard praised the collective effort behind Coventry’s impressive form.
“We achieved some fantastic results throughout November, and I want to thank all the players, staff, and everyone involved for their continued hard work,” he said.
He added, “We have great togetherness and team spirit here, and we're all looking forward to the busy Christmas period and continuing our hard work.”
Coventry City head into the festive period full of confidence, fueled by outstanding momentum both on and off the pitch, as Lampard’s leadership and Simms’ goal-scoring form continue to drive their promotion charge.
