Kudus magic sinks hapless Manchester United as West Ham leapfrog Red Devils
Under-fire Manchester United continued a poor string of results that has seen them win only once in the last seven matches in all competitions after recording their fourth defeat in that run against West Ham.
Manchester United lose to West Ham
The Hammers were on top of their visitors for most of the encounter and claimed a deserved three points against a Manchester United side that failed to show up mentally for the fixture.
Goals from the impressive Jarrod Bowen and Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus were enough to seal the 2-0 win, sending West Ham into sixth place on the Premier League log.
The loss sees the Red Devils drop to eighth place on the table, and with the prospect of European football already gone this season, manager Erik Ten Hag is walking a tight-rope and could find himself out of a job soon.
