KOT BUZZ: ‘Repent for sacking Tuchel’ – Kenyans react after Chelsea sack Potter
After the confirmation that Chelsea have sacked Graham Potter as manager, Kenyan fans have reacted to the news in different ways.
Potter has been shown the door after just seven months in charge at Stamford Bridge, and Julian Nagelsmann – who was sacked a week ago by Bayern Munich - has been tipped to succeed him.
The sack came just a day after the Blues lost 2-0 to Aston Villa, and this means he leaves after winning only seven of his 22 Premier League games in charge.
When he was appointed to succeed Thomas Tuchel, Potter was handed a long term deal of five years but only managed to see through seven months of that deal.
After the home loss to Villa, Chelsea are now 11th in the league table and lie 12 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
Former Brighton defender Bruno Saltor will now be in charge of the first team ahead of their match against Liverpool on Tuesday.
The London club is also set to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final.
One fan was categorical that Chelsea must repent for sacking Thomas Tuchel. The German tactician guided the club to Champions League glory before he was shown the door amid a poor run, especially in the league.
I want to thank Todd Boehly for Sacking Graham Potter. Chelsea was becoming an average team with that Mfinyanzi at the helm. Todd should also repent for Sacking Thomas Tuchel and making us go through such hard times.

It was a bad mistake to appoint Potter, another KOT commented and revealed he will be happy that Chelsea will have a new manager for the Real Madrid game.
We will have anew coach for Real Madrid.

What a relief.
The"boys gave everything" is gone. That was a bad mistake Boehly made to hire Graham Potter
I've always said that Graham Potter's biggest mistake at Chelsea was his mentality.

Big clubs want more always. pic.twitter.com/PN7LLVVywJ
Another explained why Potter should move to Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs’ coaching position fell vacant after the club parted ways with Antonio Conte.
If I was Spurs I’d go for Graham Potter. Perfect coach for a rebuild. Also, time to sell Harry. Let the guy go win some trophies

Chelsea want a world-class manager, Peter Saitoti empathized.
Finally, Graham Potter is out of @ChelseaFC. Now bring in a World Class manager, not this mid table disaster #TheBlues

Albanus claimed Chelsea fans deserve better, as Potter’s reign was torturous.
I never wished anyone to lose his job allow me to celebrate on Graham Potter as a Chelsea manager. It's been six months of torture and hell.
