KCCA to play Kenya's CAF representatives

KCCA FC will play an international friendly against Kenya Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz on Friday 4th August, the club has confirmed.

The Kasasiro Boys revealed that the friendly match will climax what they termed as the "KCCA FC Club day".

"On the KCCA FC Club day on Friday, we shall host Kenya's Kakamega Homeboyz," the club announced.

Both sides will use the fixture to prepare for the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup that kicks off on August 20th with the qualifying rounds.

KCCA FC has been handed a bye from the first round of the qualifiers and will face the winner between Tunisia's Olympique de Beja and Libya's Abo Selim.

On the other side, the Kenyan Cup winners are scheduled to play Libyan giants Al Ahli Benghazi in the first round.

KCCA will use the match to present their coach Sergio Traquil, his backroom staff and the newly-signed players.
