After a dull opening half, Federico Gatti headed Juventus ahead just six minutes after the restart.

Nigeria’s Osimhen did have the ball inside the Juve net but it was ruled off for offside late on.

Osimhen finished the game as the most fouled player and also had the least touches on the pitch.

He completed 44% of his passes, created one chance, and made one big chance but missed a good chance to score his seventh goal of the season.

In terms of what the result means for both sides, the Old Lady, Juventus, are the new Serie A leaders as they have leapfrogged Inter Milan at the top of the standings.

Juve currently lead with 36 points, just one point above Inter, who host Udinese at San Siro on Saturday, while the title is slowly slipping away from Napoli's hands, with the holders now 12 points behind their conquerors.
