Alfred rose to athletics fame following her historic performance at the Paris Olympic Games, where she became Saint Lucia's first Olympic gold medallist ever. She also became the world 60m and Diamond League 100m champion, thus closed off last season as the undisputed sprint queen.
With more expectations and a loaded season ahead, Alfred will be gunning to prove her iconic 2024 year was no fluke and will have her goals set at dethroning Sha'Carri Richardson for the World 100m title, while also defending her Diamond League title.
The Saint Lucian sprint queen's record-breaking start in Boston already shows she's on track for another monumental year with a focus on August's World Championships in Tokyo.
