Gyokeres shocked by Zubimendi's goal
"It's an incredible feeling to score and secure the win. We wanted to put in a better performance than against Liverpool. I think we did that, so it was a great day," he told TNT Sports, via Sportal.
"The lads have been incredible. It was very easy to integrate into the group. But, of course, there's always a period you need to adapt to everything," he confessed, highlighting Eze, Madueke, and Zubimendi, who bagged a brace.
"Eze and Madueke are incredible and always do something special. We saw it today. Zubimendi's first goal? I've never seen him do that in training, it was great that he scored. The header too, I was a bit surprised, but it was great to see him score two goals," he noted.
Arsenal now shifts its focus to the UEFA Champions League, where they face Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday in the Basque Country.
"We were focused on this game, now we have the UEFA Champions League match. It's a competition we want to compete in, so let's go for it. We'll give our best to win every competition," he concluded.
