Ivan Sserubiri leaves Villa after strained relationship with coach
Vastly experienced midfielder Ivan Sserubiri has parted ways with record Uganda Premier League holders SC Villa, as per multiple reports.
Sserubiri has spent the past season and a half with the Jogoo but has now called his time up after a quiet first round of the season.
It has been reported that the player and the technical bench have had a hollow-cheeked relationship that has limited his playing time this campaign.
Despite his continued availability, Sserubiri has only played thrice in the league this campaign.
Weeks back, it was reported that the player's continued unexplained absence spurred division in the dressing room, with players insisting he was unfairly treated.
