Israel Adesanya: Nigerian Stylebender teams up with Joe Rogan

Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya appears to have branded his relationship commentator Joe Rogan.

The Last Stylebender recently paid Rogan a visit at his podcast studio in Austin, Texas.

They shared a photo of themselves on Adesanya's Instagram account.

The 35-year-old described how his connection with Rogan has changed over time in the post.

He said, "From a fan to a friend, I hope this never ends. Shoutout Joe Rogan for being the realest!!"

At UFC 305 in August 2024, Adesanya was last seen competing head-to-head for the middleweight title against Dricus du Plessis.

Perth, Australia's RAC Arena hosted the pay-per-view card. It was an entertaining bout with both combatants experiencing brief periods of success.

Ultimately, Adesanya was defeated by du Plessis via submission in the fourth round of the bout.

In addition to being the first time in Adesanya's MMA career that he has lost two straight fights, the fight saw 'The Last Stylebender' lose by submission.

According to UFC pundit Joe Rogan, Israel Adesanya may have suffered an injury ahead of the bout with Dricus du Plessis.

On his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan recently spoke with UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad.

Rogan on that episode suggested that Adesanya might have been compromised during the main event of UFC 305.
