Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has expressed his excitement after completing a loan move to West Ham United for the remainder of the season, stressing his determination to return to regular football and make an immediate impact.

The French international joined the Hammers in search of increased playing time after a challenging spell at Stamford Bridge, where opportunities had been limited in recent months.

Speaking to West Ham’s official website, Disasi made his enthusiasm clear following his arrival in East London.

“I’m very happy to be here, to have this opportunity. I’m just ready to fight and to play games,” he said.

Disasi admitted that the lack of minutes in recent months has been difficult, but he is now fully focused on getting back onto the pitch and contributing to his new team.

“Everyone knows my situation in the last few months, so I just want to get back on the field, feel the sensation of games and help the team,” he explained.

The 26-year-old revealed that West Ham’s strong interest played a major role in his decision to accept the loan move, highlighting the confidence shown in him by the club.

“The Club has allowed me to show my quality on the pitch. I spoke with all the people here, and I feel that they really wanted me, so that’s why I’m here today,” Disasi said.

The defender is expected to add experience and solidity to West Ham’s back line as they push to climb the table in the second half of the season.
