‘I'm a big fan of Bukayo Saka's personality’ — Ex-Man City star praises Arsenal starboy

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka continues to earn admiration from within his own dressing room, with teammate Gabriel Jesus leading the praise.

The Brazilian forward highlighted not just Saka’s talent, but also the humility that sets him apart in modern football.

Jesus was full of admiration when speaking about Saka’s personality, pointing out how rare it is for a player of his stature to remain grounded.

“I'm a big fan of Bukayo Saka’s personality because this guy is so humble. And he's strong, but so humble,” he said.

The former Manchester City forward also emphasised Saka’s journey from academy prospect to global star, noting how little he has changed despite his rise.

“Today in football it's not something that is easy, to see someone that comes from academy and then being so big in the club… and then he has stayed the same,” Jesus added.

For a player who has become one of Arsenal’s most important figures, that consistency in character is seen as a major strength both on and off the pitch.

Beyond personality, Jesus believes Saka has already reached the elite level when it comes to performance.

“At the same table. They are all the same… they all have their qualities and have had an impact in one big moment,” he said, placing Saka alongside the best wingers in world football.

He continued: “So Bukayo is there as well. Obviously, you still need to win trophies, but this he will get.”

With his influence continuing to grow, Saka’s next step will be translating individual brilliance into silverware, something his teammates clearly believe is only a matter of time.
