‘I wouldn't want to play against Osimhen’ - Turkish legend explains trouble facing Super Eagles star
Osimhen was in action for Galatasaray yesterday as his team sealed a narrow 2-1 win against Basaksehir FK.
The Super Eagles striker produced an exceptional performance, creating the opening goal of the game.
Since joining on loan from Napoli in September of last year, Osimhen has been in sensational form in the Turkish Super Lig.
Nihat speaks on fearing Osimhen
Nihat Kahveci made a statement regarding Osimhen, claiming he is a difficult player to face.
Speaking on Kontraspor's YouTube channel according to habersarikirmizi.com, "If I were a defender, I wouldn't want to play against Osimhen and Barış Alper.
"It wasn't Kerem Demirbay's day. He did his best but he was Galatasaray's bad name on the field. The first yellow card given to Torreira was too harsh."
Nihat claimed Osimhen outmuscles opponents and dominates aerial duels thanks to his physicality and aerial presence.
Because of his ability to leap, he is a constant threat in the box and skilfully turns crosses into goals.
Galatasaray has been undefeated since the former African Footballer of the Year joined the team, and Osimhen's outstanding performances have given the team confidence.
Osimhen has now scored 13 goals and provided five assists in all competitions for Galatasaray this season.
