‘I have rarely seen such a complete striker’ - Belgian star hails Osimhen, claims he possesses all the qualities

Osimhen has been one of the best strikers in the world in the last two seasons following his escapade for club and country.

The Super Eagles star, while at Napoli, led his team to their first Serie A title in 33 years and clinched the league's highest goal scorer award.

He moved to Galatasaray on loan and also led the Turkish side to winning the league title and cup, also claiming the top scorer in the league.

Hendrickx, who played alongside Osimhen at Charleroi, has hailed the Nigerian striker for his talent.

"I have rarely seen such a complete striker," Hendrickx told RTBF. "Generally, a striker has one or two major strengths… but Victor had everything: power, speed, depth, technique, stamina, jumping ability, and heading. Everything!"

The midfielder also shared an anecdote about the club's manager, Felice Mazzu, who foresaw Osimhen's future greatness.

"I remember going into Mazzu’s office at the beginning, and Felice said to me, 'Take a good look at this one, because one day he’ll play for the biggest clubs in the world!'

"I chuckled a bit at the time... and we saw what happened next. I never would have imagined it! Besides, Felice always said he was like a son to him."

Hendrickx praised Osimhen's raw, street-football instincts, noting his ability to control difficult passes with incredible athleticism. "You see his power and speed first, but technically, Victor is capable of doing crazy things," he added. 

"You’d send him an unstoppable high ball... he’d catch it with an incredible leap or move. Victor has this instinctive technique."
