‘I assume that he will stay’ - Leverkusen chief confirms Boniface's failed move to Al Nassr
The announcement follows speculation that he would join the Saudi Arabian team following a medical that was scheduled for this week.

Rolfes give update on Boniface transfer
Rolfes has given an update on Boniface’s failed transfer to Al Nassr, with the club director revealing he will remain there.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Rolfes said, "There have been talks, but we are happy that he will be training with us today. I assume that he will stay."
The director also added that Boniface's feelings towards the team remain unaltered and positive.
He continued in his statement, "He feels comfortable here; his attitude towards the club is unchanged."

His remarks relieve any worries that the Nigerian forward, who has performed well at Leverkusen this season, would be departing the team soon.
He implied that Boniface is content with his current circumstances and is focused on his work at Leverkusen.
Since joining Leverkusen, Boniface has excelled as a player, and other clubs have taken notice of his performances.
Given that Boniface has been a vital member of Leverkusen's attacking lineup, the team is happy that he will be staying.
